Carmel Clay Schools is among Indiana's most decorated districts, and Carmel High School is one of the largest and most awarded high schools in the state — which brings an exceptional breadth of AP courses, athletics, and arts programming, inside a very large school.

Hamilton Southeastern is also highly regarded and splits its students across two high schools, Hamilton Southeastern and Fishers High School. Some families prefer that smaller-feeling structure; others prefer the sheer range a single large high school offers. Neither is a weak choice, and this is worth touring in person rather than deciding from rankings.

Lifestyle: Arts and Culture vs. Tech and Energy

Both put you roughly 20–25 minutes from downtown Indianapolis in normal traffic. The difference is which corridor you'll use.
